I can’t start to explain how addicted we nigerians/Lagosians are to Shawarma’s because I remember back in the days when only mega plaza that had really great shawarma. People would come from the mainland and the island to get shawarma and trust me business was booming for them.

Then the surulere joints kicked in and spiced up their shawarma’s keeping the mainland people in check. Shawarma consumption in Lagos has never reduced but keeps increasing without a doubt. I know people that eat shawarma everyday not just because it looks easy but because they can have it with new flavors and ingredients. There is no better way to satisfy your craving for good shawarma like hitting the right shawarma spots in lekki especially when they also come with delivery. So I discovered these guys on Hellofood sometime last year only to realize they were only a stone’s throw from my former office and House. The name should not come as a surprise as this is a well known shawarma brand name in Lagos. 01 shawarma has spots all over lagos offering some of the best shawarma at different locations. They offer large size shawarma with sausages. Their shawarma is best eaten on the spot. I typically go and pick it up. Ebeano Shawarma

If you go to prince ebeano supermarket and you see those long queue’s outside or people waiting they are most probably waiting for their shawarma or pop corn or bbq chicken. This is one of the reasons asides shopping that keeps me going back to ebeano. It is so good it is always worth the wait. Their shawarma spices are so original and spicy you will almost bite off your hands wanting more. They make one of the best i have eaten so far. E-Bar lounge Shawarma

I like E-bar for their ambiance since they launched its been one of the best relaxing spots after work in lekki. E-bar is one of the spots in lekki that have been around for a while they cause some of the traffic on admiralty. There grill corner however has tasty shawarma in different types mainly for people who come to chill there to watch sport, grab drink or even want to take away. I have not only tried their shawarma but i know alot of people who keep going back for their nice shawarma it comes at an affordable price. E-bar is located on Admiralty way, just by the New ice-cream factory in Lekki phase 1.

Q bites

This place like most of the really good shawarma spots in lekki are not restaurants but corner spots. Their main focus is takeouts and i have ordered their shawarma a couple of times during lunch at work and its also good. It is a bit of the basic but then the extra for me is the side deals like fried chicken and fries that they offer with it on the side at an affordable price. Qbites is located on admiralty way, just in front of morpeth plaza lekki phase 1.
