“Waterside chilling in Lekki”
Its been a few days off, during which i had time to prep up the new interface for the site…. Yayyy Loving it!! So I had this idea about my weekend and thought I should share. Its been a really long week and every weekend I am always looking for places like parks to just relax – major outdoor space where we can just gist away drink, eat and just rest away. Now there are no open parks in lekki but there are places you can enjoy the water view and generally the environment.
One of these spots happen to be my hang spot. So i have highlighted places in Lekki you can go this weekend enjoy the water view, eat and unwind.
The Pavillion
This place has been open since late 2000. It was about the only water side hangout spot. Back then a lot of people would go there every day after work and i still know people that go there after work now but hey they have really nice pepper soup (Catfish) and they sell beers/drinks as well as palm wine. It is a very local/native spot and it is nice. So just relax and enjoy the beautiful view of ikoyi and the Lekki bridge from the pavilion. It is located on Admiralty way Lekki Phase 1 (Next to Farm city).
Sailors Lounge
Another Lekki favorite spot, sailors is always happening every day. If not a clubbing night, people are always there just chilling away. They have an indoor space and two levels of outdoor waterside decks just for relaxing. You can see ikoyi (Banana island) from there, it is on the water. The environment is calm and relaxing. You can have business meetings, eat, watch football, come and dance with your friends there at night. Sailors is open 24hours, so no excuses when you want to relax.
Orella Grills
This is almost like giving out expo. The spot opened up early last year. My office used to be close to this spot and I remember how I would be getting off work and see a lot of cars parked outside only to visit the spot. It is amazing. I had lunch there one afternoon and how i enjoyed the fresh air, just unwinding during the hours. They have an indoor boat theme on the water deck so you can see the Lekki/Ikoyi bridge and just relax. At night they make nice grilled fish and suya along with other meals you want. It is located on Wole olateju street (Avalon House) Lekki phase 1.
3 cousin’s bbq
I reviewed this spot to be one of the best places to get burgers in Lekki. Well they have a really nice hangout spot facing the water. Its a really nice place to go with your friends eat or your family and chill. You can enjoy the water view and also there is a jet skii spot next door. So you can make a plan around it. 3 cousins is located on Wole Olateju crescent Lekki Phase 1.
Primi Piatti
This for me is one of the most exquisite restaurants in Lekki Phase 1. It is an italian restaurant with an outdoor space. There food is amazing and the outdoor space has a pool and the view is to Ikoyi. It is a perfect place for a date, I went there once on a date and i thought the environment was just right LOOOOL. Primi piatti is located off Admiralty road Lekki Phase 1.
