Today’s post was inspired by my friends concern for breakfast spots in Lekki. So a few weeks back my friends and I were having a conversation about creating a breakfast club in lekki because there are hardly places to get proper breakfast around here. I almost argued this as usual but then i remembered that when a certain place in lekki opened up last year and started serving breakfast, almost the whole office ordered from them on a daily basis.

It made me think because I know a lot of people that also work complain about places to get breakfast being a big issue. For those who work/live in Lekki, I have explored a couple of good breakfast spots. And today I give you my list of top places you can get good breakfast from in Lekki phase 1 besides the regular Fast Food.

The Tea room Lekki Phase 1
I would describe as haven for freshly baked pastries. Tearoom has a very cozy and relaxing environment for breakfast with an amazing view of admiralty road. My favorite on their menu is their croissant with scrambled eggs. They also offer pancakes with syrup as well as freshly squeezed Pineapple/Orange juice. if you are within lekki phase 1 they can deliver to you anytime from 9am. They are open from 8am – 8pm everyday except Saturday.

Cafe Royale Lekki Phase 1
Cafe royale just opened up in lekki phase 1 at the new Centro Mall on Admiralty way. Cafe royale is known for their cakes as well as their pastries and bread. You can check them out anytime from 8am in the morning for your quick breakfast treat. They are located on the ground floor of the Centro mall on the right.

Olivia’s cafe Lekki Phase 1
The special thing about olivia’s cafe for me is that their food is as good as their menu. It does not come cheap but their food is pretty good. They serve full english breakfast(Toast, baked beans, sausages, juice/coffee, American breakfast(Pancakes, waffles), Breakfast for weight watchers, Express breakfast and our more nigerian breakfast Yam and corned beef stew. Olivia’s cafe is located at on Fola Osibo street inside lekki Phase 1 open from 8am monday to friday.

Switch Lounge Lekki Phase 1
A lot of people might know this place as a bar where they only go at night but switch also has a nice indoor lounge where you can get actual full english breakfast (Toast, Baked beans, tomatoes, eggs, coffee/tea or Juice). I have also had their breakfast and for a morning when I was cranky the breakfast made a lot of sense especially with the cool environment. Their breakfast is also affordable and they are open from 9am.

Bukka Hut
If you are looking to get our nigerian type of breakfast like moi-moi, akara, pap and more Bukka Hut is the joint for you in the morning. I tried their Moi-moi and pap one morning and to my surprise it was actually nice, even though it was a lot. Both cost me like N600 for only breakfast. Bukka hut is open for business from 8am so you can hook yourself up with the local breakfast.
