Hello Guys,

Hope you had a wonderful weekend I have so much to share with you this week on some of the great experiences I had last weekend in lekki, I really can’t wait but first we need to catch up on this week’s food discovery post on Food Monday.

Today’s Food Monday post is about my weekend food discovery in Lekki and it is insane! as the title of the post states. So, the short story to my discovery is that I keep finding all these new places on instagram and i found one about 2 weeks ago. I was curious because there was a joint very close to the address stated and i sort of thought that it was 3 cousins bbq that rebranded to this new spot, so I went searching. It was not 3 cousins bbq but like 2 blocks away from their spot just by the waterside on Wole olateju.

Wole Olateju is one of those streets that still has hidden gems for food in the lekki added to the amazing view of the lekki ikoyi bridge and the waterfront. I found the new burger and grills place on the street and my experience in summary was different. I sat inside because there was a party going on next door, the menu was a bit straight forward and conflicted with the menu on the website so I asked for the house special. Summary – I was really hungry before i stepped in to grab a bite but after eating the insanity burger I was so filled up I was just gazing at the 2 sides of Full fries and salad. The burger tasted so fresh and juicy I was hands on it all the way. I thought their price was good enough at N3000 for 2 sides and a drink (It was like a full platter for me). The service could have been better but then they are only 2 weeks old so I hope to see it improve. The meal in general was too much for me and would therefore consider it as money well spent. I would say this is the replacement for 3 cousins bbq on Wole Olateju. The menu is similar along with the pricing, the burger is insane and filling. Could this be the best burger spot in Lekki phase 1? Well, I will wait to try out all the other burgers on their menu and also leave you to also try them out to be the judge.
