Spanish Omelette for breakfast in Lekki

Petite peris breakfast 1

Hello Guys,

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Our latest food discovery is about more breakfast exploration in Lekki and this time we stopped at the european cafe/bistro in Lekki ‘Petite paris

Petite paris is one of the coziest places in lekki and they just moved location to a bigger space with a lovely outdoor. So we decided to try out their breakfast for the first time.

We are familiar with their menu but we noticed they had a bigger menu with more breakfast options. Anyways after all the questions we settled for omelete, toast and a hot chocolate. This wasn’t our first choice but since most of the options were not available, we chose this.

Summary

Like we said earlier we love petite paris’s new space outdoor and the restaurant itself. The ambiance is perfect for saturday breakfast or even brunch. The attendant wasn’t really sure what they had on the menu so he kept going to confirm with the chef which was fine by us.

We were suprised to see some of their option prices like the English breakfast for N4,200 (That was a shocker), also we couldn’t have the french breakfast because they mentioned they did not have croissant. The options they had did not seem like good value for the money e.g the french toast with syrup or nutella for N1,500 hence why we settled for spanish omelette.

We expected the omelette to be rolled but it was flat on the plate, which wasn’t an exciting presentation, it was served with 2 slices of toast, butter and hot chocolate.

The more shocking part was when we tried the hot chocolate and it tasted like Milo. We had to confirm it was really milo and the chef said it was milo with a dash of cream and milk, well the hot chocolate was being sold for N700 but it came with spanish omelette breakfast option. And that really wasn’t cool.

The breakfast looked like basic homemade fried eggs, slice bread and milo but at a higher price. We really did not enjoy the breakfast.

What we had & Where

Spanish omelette with toast, butter and hot chocolate N2000 on the menu but paid N1,760.
