Food Monday – Diet Munching on Chicken wheat pasta in Lekki

Hope you had a good weekend and was able to get involved in cool activities.
On food discovery, we are still on the take out month *heehee* and on today’s post we are discovering another take out spot in Lekki.
During the weekend, I had lunch from one of the lekki vendors who only does take outs. I found out about the vendor through dealdey a couple of months back and I tried hunting out their outlet. When I got to the address from dealdey they informed me it was only delivery so I made a mental note to try them out whenever I could.
(Back to the present) – I ordered lunch from diet munchers in lekki. Diet munchers offer only healthy options for delivery.

Summary
I follow diet munchers on instagram and I wasn’t so convinced by the picture of meals they always put up. I went on their website to view the menu list, just like the delivery cafe (from the previous post) they had meal deals for everyday, I ordered mixed chicken wheat pasta with a fruit cup. I thought the menu was really confusing so I called their customer service line for proper clarity on what was available. I noticed the price was a bit steep as well depending on what you wanted to order. I was told delivery time was 1 hour but then mine took over an hour 20 minutes. Communication was good from their end.
When my lunch was delivered, I was a bit surprised especially about the pasta because the portion seemed small packed in a bowl. The fruit cup I assumed came with honey and yogurt topping because I asked when I called and they confirmed it did. When it was delivered it was just the fruit in a cup (nothing special). The chicken wheat pasta looked so colorfully and smelt really nice like home cooked meal. It had green, red peppers, carrots and diced chicken that tasted good. The portion wasn’t a lot, I am not sure I can order it so often but it was good for lunch. The price for the pasta did not justify the quantity.
