Dance & Fitness At #Medpluswellness Zumba class in Lekki

Hope your week is coming on well. If you are not following living in lekki on instagram you are almost carrying last oh, because I have been updating instagram a lot with pictures and videos :). Lastweekend I updated with some fun activities I took part in, especially the Zumba fitness class on saturday morning in Lekki. I got people calling me after i posted the video saying ‘You guys where dancing shoki and we missed’

Today’s post-weekend catch up will be focused around the amazing experience I had on saturday in Lekki. I danced to everything from shoki to old school & even latin songs, follow my saturday fitness tale.

So I was invited to join the very first #Medpluswellness zumba class in Lekki and it was actually free (No payment pre or post). It was the first time they where organizing it and even though I heard 2 days before, I was still gingered to be there. This was also my first time trying out zumba.

It was in the morning and like every other saturday morning i am always skeptical about the sun because it was starting at 9am. That did not stop me and other people in lekki. I got there early, it was an open field on admiralty. The turn out was amazing over 60 people mostly female came through. The instructors for the session were from Fuzioncentre (I will tell you more about them later).

We started with warm up exercises before the dancing started and I love dancing! So, even though I was trying to take nice pictures I had to drop my camera and join in. It looked easy but when I got in I was really sweating (You can imagine all the nice music being played. Though the dance moves were focused on exercises and moving your body). I thought it was amazing and so much fun. We were under the sun and were given free bottles of water (Yes everything was for free

The session lasted for almost 2 hours and we had one major break. People driving on admiralty were really checking us out (it felt like a video shoot doing choreography).
