If it where a stranger living in Lekki, they will definitely get lost at the way places pop up overnight. I am sorta used to it and hey I have come to embrace it.

This new spot is what I will call the new China in Lagos. I have been eyeing the place for a while; apparently it used to be a house. This is another overnight tale, I did not see it coming and a Chinese restaurant opened up outta nowhere. Now it has taken me at least 4 months to check the place out but every time I drive past it there are always lots of cars.

So on this faithful day I wanted something different and went into the restaurant. At the reception it took me a while to get someone that will understand what I was saying just because a Chinese none-English speaking person was at the reception. I said to myself but this is not china town, then finally a Nigerian guy came and showed me the menu. After waiting that long I lost interest then decided to actually just check out the place. So I also noticed that only Chinese people where coming there like asides the Nigerian staffs I was the only other person. I was almost too sure their target audience where not Nigerians since all they spoke were just Chinese.

Still fine by me, now this place is well decorated like from the reception all the way in, I discovered they had private rooms for private dinning really cozy and all. Not bad at all and they have 8 of those. Then they have 2 karaoke rooms just for those who want private Karaoke sessions with your crew you can have a room to yourself.

I went back to looking at the menu after scouting out the spot and then the Nigerian manager told me that they also have Nigerian food only on request if I wanted it. Now I was not sure how i felt Nigerian food in china town setting Nahh. I will pass. So I ended up ordered the Beef in Spring onion sauce with rice, obviously for that well decorated place it won’t come at take out price but the food came out good. It was too much though but lesson learnt I will go there with friends next time.

On leaving the place I spotted the bar at the reception and it was full of all kinds Chinese alcohol, Well that i had not seen before and a very small section for bar had the recognizable champagne and a few others.

If you are in Lekki or Just around on Holidays or you have Chinese friends I think they will love to go there. Good ambiance for Chinese people including the music.
