Housed in a former school building on 36 Rasheed Alaba Williams Street, Lekki Phase 1, Canvas Concept Space is one of the most architecturally interesting cocktail bars to open in Lekki in recent years. The space is generous, the cocktail programme is genuinely creative, and the whole concept is built around art meeting appetite.
The Cocktails
Each cocktail comes with a diagram showing its ingredients, alcohol strength, and tasting notes. The Wake Up Call — coffee, whiskey, lemon and orange — is a standout: bold, complex and seriously well made. The bar team clearly knows what they are doing.
The Food
Small plates designed to complement the drinks: duck croquettes, spicy snail, jerk chicken tacos. The food is solid, though the cocktails remain the main event.
