Lil At Lion Village in Lekki

Lions village 1

Hello Guys,

The weekend is here TGIF and I don’t think anyone is as excited as I am. I have a long week filled with activities and Just couldnt wait for today. This is the last weekend in April (My month) and i really want to take some time to enjoy myself before stepping into May.

If you read the post on monday I mentioned I spent time with the children at Lions village motherless babies home last weekend, it was the highlight of my weekend. So on sunday Living in lekki, family and friends hosted a party at the motherless babies home in lekki for the children and it was so so cool and fun. Due to the policy’s of Lion village I couldn’t take pictures of the kids and with the kids (Privacy) but I got a few to show.

I have been in lekki for over a decade now and I never stepped into the home until last week. I was amazed and impressed. It was like a play ground with very exciting bright children. If you are in Lekki and have never been there it is open to everyone, take time out to see the children, play with them donate as well. Donations are allowed (Cloths, food, drinks, cash and more) you could also volunteer, I think it is a great way to give back if you can no matter how small.

Back to sunday, We had a full party owambe style with the kids and they loved it. There are 100 children at the home and they are really cheerful. we made some friends as well we will be going back to play with from time to time. Here are some of the pictures from the sunday party with the children at Lions village Lekki, Here are come of the pictures from the party.
