Events in Lekki

Hope your week is coming on well. Today is my weekly ‘Events in Lekki’ recap featuring events I attended in Lekki during the week/end. As usual I take out time to visit as many places meeting people and taking pictures. Last week I attended some really fun events like the Inglot foundation launch with Banke Meshida of Bmpro, Mustard Seed relaunch with some really cool people and of course the children and my usual sunday lunch with the community at Stranger lagos. Let me dive into details with pictures.

Beauty X Inglot in Lekki

Inglot hosted an afternoon lunch last week wednesday to show case their new Amc cream foundation that is formulated for the Nigerian woman. They launched the new foundation with Nigerian Makeup artist Banke Meshida Lawal with bloggers and media personalities. Inglot gave out free makeovers with the new foundation and people could shop from it. Though, I came in late, I was able to take pictures and also buy lipstick;) . See pictures for more.

Mustard Seed Loves Kids in Lekki

A few streets from my house Mustard Seed relaunched their play house and it was really well decorated. I was blown away by the environment they had and all the cool stuffs for kids in their open space. I felt like a child. I just wanted to play with kids there and take amazing pictures. Mustard seed is created like a store and a play space for children in Lekki. They had really nice canopies and cocktails at the launch. It was a fun discovery for me and I will definitely be doing a follow up feature. See pictures.

Stranger X Heelsinthekitchen in Lekki

#lunchatstranger on sunday hosted a lot of us alongside Heelsinthekitchen with chef Imoteda cooking up some Irie Jamaican themed dishes. We had a good crowd and some really cool peeps joined this week as well. For all those asking about Lunch at Stranger, it holds every sunday with food, drinks and great company.

Back to last sunday, I like jamaican food especially Jerk chicken when done well. Anyways, I had the amazing Meat balls with sauce for starter, Oxtail with rice for main and the most amazing bread and butter pudding. Always a great way to round up the weekend and shoutout to @Foodieinlagos Taiwo. Make sure you come back to join us. See pictures from #lunchatstranger
