Food Scout in Lekki – Something Cheesy
‘Iftar in Lagos’
Following the weekend recap from yesterday about the things I ate in Lekki this past weekend. On day 2 of the food scout, (have it in mind: I am not a foodie) I just know how to spot good food at the perfect time.
So this was friday evening, It was not so random as usual I really needed something different. I already mentioned I was tired of eating Nigerian food and for some reason I was craving pizza.
Thats very rare because I get tired of eating pizza, Two slices and I am done.
So I dragged my brother and said we should stake out the pizza Joint in Lekki. Which is one of my favorite pizza spots in Lekki.
At this point , might i add it was raining cats and dogs but you know what the “crave” could to you, we still needed to break our fast and have a very light iftar “break our fast” ooopps, sorry i got caught up in the holy month. Anyways we got I on time. A bit confused about choices i picked for him and he picked mine so we could have variety. Trust me it was right on point
After going through the menu I realized they had new flavors so i chose the sweet chili chicken flavor and he went for the Tikka chicken. To add the spice to our pizza meal.
We said to ourselves we would do takeout and go home to eat but after waiting 15minutes and the pizza were ready. It looked very sumptuous, smelt so nice. A mixture of sweet and herbs because it was half and half inside one box.
To cut the story short- We sat down in there and did the munchies. It was a good combo since we had the sweet bell pepper and the chicken from both to balance the taste. My brother said he couldn’t believe it because he thought the pizza will be dry since they had that many topping but it was not the case. It was juicy, hot and tasty. If you have never had tikker* the Indian famous meal before you will definitely know the difference that this is not Nigerian. The cheese was not too much so it was trickling as we were trying to separate the slices, that was one hell of a pizza.
This is just a tip into what you can enjoy eating in Lekki
