‘Stranger Lagos’

This post is long overdue. Like way overdue like early this year. So much has been said about this place in Lekki but very few here on this platform “Living in lekki”.

My first opinion of this place in Lekki would that it is very cool and innovative. I actually thought a lot of people will not get what the store was really about, because we have nothing like this in Nigeria. It’s a very different a mixture of Fashion, Art, Cafe and a lot more. When I had asked for the owner of such great place, hearing the name wasn’t strange or surprising, because I know the type of creative mind he has I would say rather “strange” well stranger Lagos fit the name.

I once said to myself these guys sends out one of the most innovative and content filled newsletters I get and they have made really nice fashion campaigns, Like they totally go all out when it comes to creativity.

Today my spotlight from my waka in Lagos is about Stranger Lagos, for a creative mind like mine they totally get me. Stranger Lagos is in Lekki and i think it will soon be the place where everyone hangs out every weekend. I would even love to plan an event there just because of the cool space they have.

Stranger Lagos has a fashion store section where they sell fashion collections for the rarest designers around Africa and outside. Some of the designers stocked there are Iamisigo, Kenneth Ize & many more.

They also a book swap spot where you can exchange your book with another and take it away. Also very new and they have the already popular magneto cafe where you can get fresh coffee, late, muffins and cold beverage as well. They usually have a monthly hang out at the magneto cafe called the brew day where people get to brew their own coffee n more.

Finally my fav spot is the Magneto room the colorful room where all the selfies are taking. It is an empty room very nice for hangout and picture. Most recently they announced they will be having a crawl in the room. More innovation and more fun.
