‘Ice cream in Lekki’
It is easy to wonder about in a place yet so big and still not know places to go or things to do.
Well that is my Tale with Lekki, 10 years and counting and I am still discovering my neighborhood.
I am not sure what I am searching for but it is ……………………………
Even though I keep reminding myself to stay off sugar for personal reasons, I still cannot stop chasing up desserts. I am a dessert perfectionist. For the very hot country we live in, I have been able to find my way around it with finding the coldest and creamiest desserts in my neighborhood. My friends know me and the way I describe really good dessert.
Once upon a time, I would go all the way to Ikeja to get really nice ice-cream and gateau’s and I seemed crazy.So now that Lekki has grown and has a lot to offer, I have desserts spots everywhere around me.
Today I am highlighting really nice cold ice cream and where you can get them in Lekki.
Coldstone Ice cream
This is no surprise that it is the first on the list. Ever since cold stone ice-cream opened up in Lekki, we have not had a break. The American Ice-cream outlet has blown all of us away with their huge ice-cream treats that definitely come at a cost. Just recently they added froyo to their collection of cold desserts.
Before cold stone it really felt like there was no Ice-cream spot in Lekki. It definitely gave Lekki phase 1 more spotlights for yummy treats.
Sweet Kiwi
In my earlier posts you will remember the event about Sweet Kiwi opening up in Lekki. I really won’t go into a lot of details as to why they made the cut. What they offer is definitely definite with their frozen yogurt treats. And their outlet is so modern, serve yourself so really you can’t go wrong when you are at Froyo.
Chocolate Royale
They are also not new but the only news about them being on this list is because they are now in Lekki. I remember the days when one of the only places to get really nice ice-cream in Lekki was at chocolate royale in Victoria Island.
Well times are different now they have an outlet in Lekki. So you can get nice ice-cream with toppings as well.
Breenie’s Ice-cream
So they have been around for a bit. Their only focus has been ice-cream, even though they are not popular their ice-cream is pretty good and kids also like them as well. They offer ice-cream cones with different flavors. Check them out when you can.
Some of the other places that cater to your ice-cream cravings in Lekki Phase 1 are KFC, Chicken Republic and The place. Not major outlets but only for Ice-cream.
When you are in Lekki and in deep need of that cold treat check out one of these places.
